G. William Domhoff has taught at the University of California at Santa Cruz since 1965. He has been involved in dream research since the 1960s.
Adam Schneider graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 1994. In addition to his continuing contributions to dream research, he does freelance design-related things in Portland, Oregon.
Calvin Hall (1909-1985) began his career as a pioneer in the field of behavior genetics; he started working on dreams in the 1940's. One of his legacies is the quantitative coding system that he developed with Robert Van de Castle; we use it in most of our studies.
